,
The 2019-2020 school year was a difficult year for many students across the country. IME Foundation networks with students in Los Angeles Unified and Inglewood Unified School District. Both districts were already burdened with overcrowded classrooms and a teacher’s strike before the devastation of COVID-19, which led to school closures, distance learning and the fear of a rapidly declining economy.
The I.M.E. Foundation was established to address the root causes and disrupt cycles of bullying, in an effort to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and ENCOURAGE children and adults to live happy and productive lives. IME stepped in this school year to help students and families with Christmas toys, food give-a-ways, college prep support, and other supplemental education services. As we head into a new school year, just two months away, we want to continue our support of students during this difficult time.
This year we plan to expand our reach and deepen our support of vulnerable families. We need your help to continue our work to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and ENCOURAGE.
OUR GOALS ARE TO PROVIDE:
Conflict-Resolution ⃓ Parent Tutorials ⃓ Anti-bullying Initiatives ⃓ Suicide Prevention
